Joseph is such an example of faith in the Bible! We think we have issues - here's a guy whose family tried to kill him, his boss threw him in jail for something he didn't do, his friends forgot about him, and still his faith in God was strong!
Think about it - we can turn to God's Word for inspiration and motivation today, but there was no Bible in his day! The guy was incredible!
Here's two things to remember about Joseph
1. Joseph had faith despite adverse circumstances!!
Look at this list
- family tried to kill him , then sold him into slavery
- falsely accused
- put in jail
- forgotten by friends who said they would help him
2. Joseph had a faith that acted despite the impossible
In the end he told the Hebrews to make sure his bones left Egypt when they did! 400 years later they did when the Pharoah let them go!! Not even Moses made it into the Promised Land!
